Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

Question Of The Day

Who has been the kindest person to you in your life?

My answer is really more two people than one. My mother and stepfather have been very kind to me over the years and have stood by me through thick and thin. They have been very generous and helpful many times. Always ready to help in any way they can. I love them both and don't tell them near enough!

My sweet mother-n-law.

I would have to say Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Bo. They were there anytime I needed them. Aunt Bonnie taught me how to work and made it fun. They had children of their own, but always had room for more. I owe them a great deal.

Well, I have to agree with my brother on this one. I believe Harold was put on this earth to be there for Wendell and myself. Both Harold and Mom have always been there for us both. I made a comment during Harold's retirment last Octber, he has been a guiding light in all of the decisions I have made in my adult life. Mom is just Mom. Always there no matter what.

My Grandma...she's gone now....it broke my heart when she died. When Mother left, Grandma stepped in quietly, and reliably. She was an anchor throughout many storms....

And she never shut me out, left or denied me a welcome. I miss her. every. day. She was a warmth that I will never, ever stop feeling.
