Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Question Of The Day

While waiting in line at the checkout counter you notice that the lady in front of you, who appears to be in her late 60s early 70s, has a big tear in her pants that is showing her undergarments. Do you bring it to her attention, or do you just let it be? Or how do you handle it?

I am aware that men may handle this differently than a woman. Keep it clean please!

Honey you know I would tell!

Out of 6 people in this office, 3 people would tell her, 3 people would not.

Interesting question. I looked down once while chauffeuring my 94 year old Grandmother throughout WalMart. She had a sock hanging out from the back of her sandal. I didn't tell her.....why? Because the very fashion conscious little European wearing pearls on the bread aisle would have been horrified at her faux pas!

It was in her best interest to be unaware......

Maybe Granny is just "in-style"??

rule of thumb: if it can be fixed or corrected immediately - then let them know discretely

I would tell my Granny, because she would have a heart attack if she found out later that no one told her!

when ever I'm in some situation like this...I always ask myself - would I want to know? Yes I would quietly tell her.
