Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* I pretty much spent the whole day working on my welding trailer project.
* I'm quite proud of how it is turning out. We may have an interested investor for this project. He was looking things over today, made the comment that he was "going to get his people on it" in reference to some parts for the welder.
* Thanks W-brother-in-law!
* W-preggo daughter had her baby shower today. She made quite the haul. W-spouse forgot the camera, so hopefully I can get some pictures for a post from W-preggo daughters mom.
* W-sister and b-law are up this weekend from that hell hole called Houston. We all went to Prontos in Bridgeport for lunch. That place rocks!
* I think I have run into a wall tonight. The last three nights we have been up way to late 2 nights I couldn't sleep and last night it was the ballgame. I'm not going to have any problems tonight.
* We need to catch up on some Tivo around here. It's nearly bogged down.
* I did some research on the welder we bought. I think it is a 1967 model. Dang near as old as me.
* The ball game last night was a nail biter. Not Ano-biter, nail biter. We scored with 8 seconds left on the clock to take the lead. W-spouse was hoarse after the game. She wasn't the only one.
* There was some confusion as to whether or not the game was over at that point. There was either 2 seconds left on the clock or they made everyone clear the field and kick the extra point, or go for two. We had to wait on two referees that had took off running for the locker room.
* There was a reason they hauled butt. I'm pretty sure they knew that they had blown a few calls and were trying to make quick exit.
* Not just for our team, both teams and the coaches were wanting soem explanations.
* It wouldn't have affected the outcome of the game, but there were a few bad calls.
* We stopped at a sports bar in Witchita Falls on the way home. It was the only place available. That whole town closes down at 11pm. Thats weird for a college town.
* We rode to Burkburnett with some friends in their Mercedes Benz. That is on heck of a cool car!
* Time to find some grub. Goodnight and see ya Around The Corner!

Wichita Falls closing at 11:00?

Wow, that late?

That only gives them about another 15 minutes to roll up the sidewalks...

Used to have to go up there about once a month, but now another from my office is, uh, having that pleasure.

Good for me!
