Around The Corner From Over There

* It's raining again. Of course anyone in their right mind could see that already!
* I drove 30-40 mph south on 287 this morning during a blinding rainstorm. A fuel hauling truck passed me going at least 70, he might haul for a company on the east side of Decatur near the rail road tracks. Very unsafe.
* Ok, let me set this up last evening. Two consenting adults = oppurtunity! Two consenting adults, no children at home = Perfect oppurtunity! Two consenting adults, no children at home, raining outside = An even greater oppurtunity! Two consenting adults, no children at home, raining outside, satellite not working because of heavy cloud cover = Unheard of oppurtunity! Phones start ringing, recieved numerous texts about the weather and work related things = Well, you get the picture.......GRRRRRRRRRRRR !!!!
* At some point I have to take a random drug test today. I sure get picked a lot for that.
* I keep my work boots in my pickup and have a pair of Crocs that I wear back and forth in the house. W-stepsons pickup was under the carport last night and mine was parked beside the house. Quess who waded water to get in his vehicle this morning? Wet socks at 5:45am are not a great way to start the day.
* Internet failed at the house last night and while on the phone with tech support I asked the question, " Does Century Link provide just an internet package, or do you have to have phone and internet"?  I found out that you can just have a dedicated line for internet. Oh great, been paying for a phone for 3 years that we don't even have in the house.
* I will be calling them when I get a chance to change my service and save about $30 a month.
* I'm pretty sure that they don't want everyone to know that. So, if you have internet service through Century Link (formely Embarq), and you don't use the home phone, there is a plan available just for internet. They don't advertise that, so I will.
