Surprise Birthday Party For Cuz

This past Saturday was Davids 50th Birthday. What he didn't know was that we had a surprise birthday planned for him. After a month of careful planning and trying in vain to keep it from him, we all pulled off a successful surprise party. Many thanks to the staff at Kindred, Jo Anna, W-spouse, Sharon and James, Shayne and MANY others to numerous to name here. Without each of you, and the role you played in the party, it couldn't have been done. He is not an easy person to pull something like this off on, but we did. He was delighted. He was touched, and above all else the smile on his face made all the hard work worth every second of it. Sunday morning we went up to his room and visited with him before returning home and he was still smiling and talking about it.

A picture compilation that I put together for him. For those of you that don't know, the lady in the older pictures with the Bouffant hair was his mother. She passed away many years ago after a courageous battle with cancer.

I spoke at the party about the adventures of David and I

His niece Catie spoke

Spencer, a long time friend and fellow HPD Officer

Malinna, another long time friend and the wife of one of Davids best friends
