Lizard Attack

Yesterday W-daughter mowed at the house. She jumped on the zero-turn and took off. She was doing a great job for her first time aboard a zero-turn. She was nearly finished when I heard her screaming. DAD! DAD! HELP........She gets dramatic sometimes :-) I ran around the corner of the house to find this. He must have been hiding under the seat and came out to see what was going on.You would have thought it was a 15' Rattlesnake. I needed that laugh. Yes I did.

I kinda hate to admit it, but when I opened the well house today to check the water softener I caught something moving very fast out of the corner of my eye. First reaction was COPPERHEAD! Turns out it was a lizard that was camped out in the door insulation. But out of the corner of my eye... COPPERHEAD!

My daughter woulda come screaming "Hey Daddy, look what I caught!"

I've seen her with four or five geckos on her shirt at a time - she's really good at catching them.

She also likes to catch garden snakes she finds under the stepping stones - a practice I have tried to discourage for the reason RPM articulated above.
