Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My MInd

* It's raining lightly on me right now. It's also humid and 94 degrees.
* It seems to rain more in Denton County than in Wise County.
* I want to "ride out a hurricane" someday. I actually already have done that, but I was to young to remember. Back when I lived in Houston, when I was a kid.
* Speaking of kids. We got to see both grand kids the last two days. Score!
* I experienced a "let down" yesterday of sorts. I suppose that will happen from time to time.
* W-spouse and I have two weddings to attend, a major surgery on my mother and a son shipping off for the US Army all within the next month. All life changing events.
* So far, so good on the swap over to iPhones for the Watsons. They both seem to be catching right on.
* I have watched the HBO series, The Newsroom since it started a few months ago. We like it.
* I also am a True Blood fan. Go ahead, think what you want. I like it also. There is this one red headed vampire chick on there that is smoking hot!
* Boardwalk Empire returns in a few weeks, along with SOA(Sons of Anarchy).
* RBS brought this up in the comments. Tony Stewart got wrecked out last weekend at Bristol. Shortly after the race started Ryan Newman got wrecked out. 40 laps from the checkered flag, Danica got wrecked. All the same way, and all racing hard at Bristol. I can only imagine the frustration that Tony had. 3 of his cars wrecked, all in the same race, two of them running for Chase points. Yeah, I might have thrown my helmet also. He did, and yep, it's high time we saw Tony back in true form.
* It made me sick that Gordon finished 500 miles at Bristol without a scratch on his car. Everyone is so scared to lean on him. They know in his haste to try for another championship that he will wreck anyone in his way, so they just let him run by. UGHHHH
* Kawasaki sent me a letter in regards to the recall on the Teryx4. They have given all owners a $300 gift card to be used toward any Kawasaki accessories. I'm happy with that. Matter of fact, yesterday at lunch I stopped by there and spent some of it on a new half windshield for the Teryx4.
* Have a great evening, see ya Around The Corner!
