Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

From The Corner Of My Mind

* The weather this past week was great. You can't complain about 65 degree weather in August in Texas.
* Yesterday we spent the morning in church, and immediately after church, W-spouse went to a bridal shower. After that we spent the evening at Catfish O'Harlies having a birthday dinner for W-mom.
* After the dinner I rode to the Walmarts and W-mom and Papa harold both got new IPhones. WHAT? Yep, you read that right. Both of them are now "I-Nuts".
* I then spent to 9:30pm last night getting both of their phones set up and the contacts swapped over (thanks to W-baby mom for the assistance). We then got their desktops both set up with the icons and Apps that they use most of the time.
* It's going to be interesting to see if Papa Harold uses his IPhone  like it's intended. I think he will probably just talk on his more than text, but he has the tool to use now if he desires! W-mom has had an IPad since Christmas and has used it a lot. She is starting to get familiar with all the functions and has easily learned how to use it. I think she will do the IPhone the same way.
* Happy Birthday mom, it was a pleasure getting to spend the evening with you just visiting.
* W-mom is scheduled for surgery Friday morning at 11 am, Harris downtown Ft Worth. This extensive surgery on her back is going to be no easy task, either for the Doctors, or her. She has had to be off her arthritis medicine in preparation for the surgery and I think that is bothering her more than anything.
* Yesterday I installed some things in her bathroom at home to assist her in maneuvering around in there after the surgery. There are a few more things Papa wants me to do and the house should be ready for her to come home after the surgery.
* On Saturday, W-spouse, Ava, W-daughter #2 and I went back up to the Red River to ride the Teryx. We spent about 4 hours up there and had a wonderful time. Ava, W-daughter and W-spouse all got out and waded and played in the Red River.

* After we left, we stopped by the Blue Ostrich winery and vineyard. It used to be and ostrich farm, and we all know what happened to that fad, so they turned it into a winery and vineyard. The actual winery and wine tasting room used to be the hatchery, but now is elegantly remodeled and is a very nice room for enjoying all your wine pleasures. I had to pick up a new set of wine glasses while there. Green camo for us and Pink camo for the girls.
* Time to get to work. Have a great Monday, see ya Around The Corner!

You didn't mention it but our man 'Smoke' is off his meds again. That's the TS I know and love. Who wants NASCAR to be like lawn tennis?
They said he threw a strike but I think he was aiming at the windshield and threw a low ball to the hood.
Anyway, he's baaaaaaack!
