* Cloudy and overcast right now. Temperature about 70, and reaching the mid 90s today. Slight chance of rain on Saturday.
* My wife is obsessed with finding us a resort to stay at on vacation. She was on the computer late last night and this morning I woke up to an empty bed at 5am. She was back in there on the PC browsing again. She is going to need a vacation to just rest from planning a vacation.
* We have invited a friend of W-stepson #3 to go with us on vacation. All expenses paid. His first reaction seemed to be, for lack of better words, somewhat unexcited. I thought to my self, when I was 18 and if someone invited me to a week in Mexico chasing hot chicks on the beach, hanging out with friends, snorkeling and excursions.........all for free, I would have been like "Heck yeah, when do I need to pack and what do I need to pack, and is there anything I can do to help get ready".
* I don't understand.
* I just don't get it.
* News that had that I didn't want to say anything about till now: There is a high probability that my sister and b-law will soon be back in Texas. To live. For good. I'm so glad for them. Iowa is a long way away.
* My sister is 5 years younger than me. She's been a grandma for about 4 years already. She plays the part well :-) She likes being called "Nana", but I call her Granny Shayne and tell the kids to call her that to aggravate her all the time. She spoils all the kids, all the time. She spoiled her nieces growing up, and now she spoils her great niece, and grand children.
* The Saint Augustine grass has taken hold very well. Of course it's not 105 outside yet. I think it's time to fertilize. I'm going to call and ask the nursery lady about it, but I keep forgetting to do that.
* I'm not going to get to work on project DTB for a few days. We will be working 7-7 for the next few days. Hopefully I will be off Saturday and can make a big dent in the project then.
* I received the shipping orders on the swing set supplies and slide yesterday. They should arrive around the first of next week.
* I usually get a shower and get into bed before W-spouse does. One of the best times of my day is when I'm laying there half asleep with the TV on and she slips into bed and snuggles up to me. Nearly every night.
* I left out a small part of the above scenario. She usually has to rearrange the two dogs first.
* W-spouse had to go to Wallyworld yesterday when she got off work. So did I. I needed to pick up a cooler for the back of my pickup. I had another one, but forgot and left the tailgate down one day when I left the shop after unhooking from my swivel, and the cooler ended up in someones possession other than mine. She picked up a couple of dog toys for Sophie, so did I. Now there are dog toys laying all over the house and backyard.
* Have a blessed day my friends, see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.
