From The Corner Of My Mind

* Cloudy and overcast this morning, with a ten percent chance of rain.
* Kitchen renovation update: Counter tops waiting for installers. Still.
* Painting, wallpaper removal, sheet rock repair and ceiling repair will start next Monday. The granite guys better hurry.
* The backyard is nearly to grade. I have another hour or two on the tractor and it will be ready for the sprinklers. Then the sod. We are going with St Augustine. Final decision.
* I have to order it by Tuesday, and it will arrive on Thursday. 6 pallets. Which means, the sprinklers have to be installed before then.
* I saw a video of Stevie Nicks on another blog this morning and have been listening to her videos ever since.
* Gotta run, see ya Around The Corner!

I am sorry this post is a few days late, but I still wanted to post a comment. I am very proud of Cole for choosing to serve in our Armed Forces. The choice I made to serve was one of the best decisions I EVER made! I firmly believe everyone should serve a minimum of two years in the military. At the time I chose to enlist, I was floating through life as if there was no reason to move forward. I learned so much through my experience, as well as gaining invaluable discipline and work ethics. I cringe every time I hear Mom tell the story of sitting on the back porch steps and crying as I left for Basic Training and again when I left to serve in the first Gulf War. My best wishes to Cole and will pray daily for God to watch over him as he defends the freedom we enjoy every minute of our lives!! Love ya!
