Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

From The Corner Of My MInd

* The weather the next few days: Cloudy, raining and colder....and windy.
* ATTENTION W-SPOUSE: I want this please.
* I don't like it when things change at work. Yeah, things have changed for a few days and I dread it.
* Yesterday evening W-spouse and I re-mulched the flower beds. I wanted the natural color and she wanted the red color. You see who won that battle.

* I had to wash my hands numerous times to get the red dye off of them. It does look good though.
* Our Red Tip Photinias have not filled out completely, but they are really healthy and I expect them to fill out this spring. I was sure that they would die after the high temperatures last summer.
* Those thing will grow in to trees if you don't keep them trimmed back.
* The trees in the backyard have been removed, along with all the limbs. I called the city about the limb removal last Thursday and they removed them on Monday. Good job Decatur city workers.
* I have a friend that owns a backhoe and I'm hoping I can recruit him in to removing the stumps for me.
* All of this yard work is cutting in to my working on, and riding in the Jeep time.
* Peyton Manning, who cares?
* NASCAR at TMS is one month away. I care.
* I still haven't made my final pick for our NASCAR fantasy league this week. The Vegas track is a tricky one.
* W-stepson #3 was trying to get in to the Marines. They declined his application due to the hardware in his ankle. He went to Dallas yesterday and took the military exam that is needed to see where you qualify towards a job. He scored in the upper 70s. Which is a great score according to all indications. He took a practice test earlier in the year and scored in the 60s. They will now resubmit all of his paperwork.
* Have a great day, see ya Around The Corner!

They are called " red tipped " because of all the blood they draw.

Love the red mulch. Wished I was going to be in Texas during the races. If I was, you would be needing to get me a ticket. Never been, want to go once someday!
