Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* Temperature at a cool 38 degrees with a light north wind. Or more like a cold north wind.
* W-spouse loved the flowers. It had nothing to do with me doing anything wrong, or getting lucky. I sent them....just because.
* Even though she and I had the house to ourselves last night. We had a small supper, and went to bed early.
* With a new puppy, going to bed early also means getting up early. Sophie goes to the bathroom about as much as a 70 year old man.
* My devotional this morning has a great message: "When you feel like you're drowning, isn't it comforting to know that your lifeguard walks on water?" Matthew 14: 22-31
* Yeah, I have felt like I was drowning a few times in the last week. Things are a lot better and I can see dry land.
* I had requested a quote from another Line X dealer in Denton. I received the quote via email for the bumpers late yesterday evening. I will be calling them today because the quote was much lower than the others. Nearly to good to be true.
* W-baby mom and W-son in law had to take his grandmother to the hospital last night. Last I heard they were still there with her at 9pm. Prayers their way.
* This year is going by to fast.
* I have this crazy phobia that I have to stop the volume on the TV on an even number.
* Sometimes I will turn it up and down numerous times just to get it on an even number, and in our bedroom that number just HAS to be 16.
* On the pump that I run at work, When I'm setting the throttle, I will try all the time to set the tachometer to an even number.
* OCD?  More like CAH.
* Crazy as hell.
* On the pump that I run at work, I have a barrel counter. It has been inoperable for a few weeks and they ordered me a new and better one. It came in last week and I installed it on Monday. I used it one time and on Monday night, the cows that are in this pasture chewed the wire in to pieces rendering it useless. I used it ONE TIME. Ugghhhhh  The shop brought me a new wire yesterday and I installed it. This time I tried to conceal the wires.
* Have a wonderful day, see ya Around The Corner!

I'm glad you're feeling better. BTW Congrats on that nifty piece of footwork back tracking on the flowers purpose.

One day, my Dad landed his Piper Tri-Pacer airplane in a field that had cattle in it. He took a quick trip home to grab some clothes, and when he got back a bit later, the cows had been licking on the fuselage, and ended up eating a big hole out of the side of the plane.......we later learned the curing paint for the fabric contained something made out of bananas, which they loved. And that is why cows now can jump over the moon.

In regards to the Line-X quote..I have found that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I used an off brand lining from a company in Decatur a few years ago and it was a horrible job. I have used both the Rhino Linings in Decatur and Denton and they are reputable people who stand behind their work.
