From The Corner Of My Mind

* Cooler temperatures are expected this weekend, but for today, again in the 70s.
* W-spouse got home from work yesterday late. Sometime after 6pm. Around 7pm she received a text asking her to return to work. She did, and walked back in the door around 10:30pm. I was fast asleep.
* This morning the puppy was trying to play with Archie. He had just about had his fill of her and jumped up in the chair to escape from her. She jumped up in the chair with him and he then jumped up on the arm of the chair and looked at W-spouse. She said the expression on his face said, "Will someone do something about this crazy bitch".
* She just wants to play and he just wants to be left alone.
* Ever have a morning where the coffee just hits the spot? I just did. Man it was just right.
* There are all these huge McMansions around us over here. You never see anyone outside or around the yards. I suspect they are all working to pay the giant mortgages.
* School buses are picking up kids around 6:20am. That is the start of a long day for young kids.
* I hate the AMR news. I have a few friends that work for them. I have a friend that is the head honcho in charge over the maintenance at Alliance. I heard they were closing it down completely. Is the FedEx maintenance and AMR maintenance all the same? Because, I think he might work for the FedEx division.
* I started a sentence with "because". Because I'm like the Honey Badger. I just don't care about grammar.
* A member of our group text is constantly reminding me of the correct usage of your, you're and you are.
* I am constantly telling him where to shove it.
* Our group text yesterday was all over the place. Lots of love shown. Although there may be a conspiracy within our ranks, with some jealousy entwined.
* When I was on the Bridgeport Fire Dept. we tried to take all measures possible to cover up/hide/clean up while working a fatality accident. We did so out of respect for the deceased, their family and any others that might drive by the scene. We even went as far to stand in front of a reporter when taking pictures. Are there no limits now?
* I'm waiting on the arrival of the bumpers and winch for the Jeep. Patiently waiting.
* That last post is a lie. Hurry the heck up.
* I talked to the landowner that joins the property we are on now. He owns all the mineral rights to nearly 500 acres to the west of us. There are gas wells on his place. I drove out by his barn and there are probably 10 newer model John Deere tractors parked around the barn. Not to mention plows, disks, hay cutters, hay rakes, hay bailers, brush hogs and many other implements.
* His place is immaculate. Not a weed in sight. All fences straight as an arrow and tight.
* His royalties, or some of them, look to be invested well.
* There is talk in the NASCAR world of adding a bonus of sorts to the Daytona 500. From all indications they are considering a bonus for the leader of the halfway point of the race. The theory is that it will try to make the drivers NOT set in the back and pace themselves till the end of the race, and to also break up the two car tandems. Opinions?
* Mr Answers. Thanks for the correction. "All things work for the good of them who are called according to his purpose". The message still applies. We may have just witnessed that within our family.
* Again, please pray for our cousin Arron. He has a long road ahead. He fell and broke his jaw in two places and has to have surgery.
