From The Corner Of My Mind

* Wow, what a change in the weather. Heavy rains yesterday, light rains this morning, and now sunshine and beautiful.
* We couldn't even get on location yesterday due to a low water crossing running full at 4' deep. We finally gave up waiting on it to go down and I went to another location and worked, and the rig hands went home.
* This morning it was 6" deep and we made it across.
* We are going to have the grand kids this weekend. Madison on Friday night and Ava on Saturday night.
* I hope I don't have to work on Saturday so we can go have "Pancakes with Papa".
* Still haven't had any issues with the Jeep. I still smell antifreeze sometimes, but I think it's just in my head. There is no indication of leaks and the fluid level remains constant.
* I'm sick of this presidential crap on TV already.
* During the SOTU address the other night I posted a comment on Facebook that my TV had a big black spot in the middle of it and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Later I said that it went away and all was well. A girl that I went to school with that is not Caucasian took offense to it and told me that I should have just changed the channel. She probably thinks I'm racist. Whatever, I have a black son in law and a half black grand daughter that I absolutely love and adore. In reality, I respect the office of the President, I just think Obama is a liar.
* If you believe all the crap that he spewed out during the SOTU then you are blinded by your Liberalism. If he is going to make all the changes that he said to fix or repair all the problems, why the HELL is he doing it now, instead of three years ago?
* One more rant. He spoke of "Big Oil" getting all these tax credits. Do you REALLY BELIEVE that "Big Oil" is the ONLY industry getting huge tax breaks? Wells Fargo, GE (General Electric) to name a few. GE states in its rebuttal to tax breaks. "Those reports are inaccurate and falsified". Ya think?
* I hate politics.
* One more thing about the SOTU. Did you notice how old some of those political figures looked? Talk about old geezers. They make Mr Answers look like a toddler. Some of those Supreme Court Judges look on the brink of death.
