The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* The rig is still broke down this morning. Looking at noon before it's ready. Maybe later.
* Now I play make-up the rest of the month.
* Last week I had ordered the last of the surround sound speakers to finish out the media room. They came in yesterday and When I got off work I installed all of them. It more than rocks
* W-spouse got called back in and worked late. I rented a movie and after she got back home we just sat and listened to Apple I tunes on the new system till after midnight.
* I watched Contagion. It was OK, not great but good. Laurence Fishburne plays his usual role. Always Mr. Tough Guy.
* It seems like over half the new movies that come out end in some weird mysterious way. I dislike stupid endings.
* I want to see The Grey when it comes out.
* W-spouse is off today. Gran is babysitting today. No, not me. Ava is going to be here today.
* Janneba, are you still out there? I haven't gotten a comment from you in a while, and that worries me.
* Not that I haven't gotten a comment, but the fact that something might have happened to her.
Police did what they had to do. I pray for the officers, and the family of this kid that made a stupid bad decision. I don't fault the officers, I blame the kid. He made a choice.
* Yeah I used to carry a shotgun in my pickup to school. Blah Blah Blah, this is a different time and a society that we live in now. Adapt and change. Guns shouldn't be at school, whether a 45 Mag or a Red Ryder BB gun.
* I have been accused of being a Redneck on a few occasions. If your a Redneck, you might have a Harley in your living room.
* Yeah, there is one in our living room right now. We brought it in and placed it on packing blankets so we could polish it up for the trade. It was to cold and windy outside under the carport.

* You didn't believe me did you?
* I didn't put those funky lights on there. W-spouse did, she thought they were cute. CUTE? It's a Harley Davidson dear.
* It was her bike to do with as she pleased. I'm just glad they were hidden and had an on/off switch.
* Your wasting your time with the comments my friend. I will not post them. I'm sure you can place them over at LLs place, he won't care. Better than that, go trade comments with Jarhead. He is much more entertaining with responses than I.
* The plan for the next four hours: Go eat breakfast with my wife and grand daughter. Head to Bridgeport to turn in some paperwork. Stop by W-moms house and program her DVD player. Hopefully see Madison while we are there. Come back home and wait on a phone call to go back to work.
* Thanks for stopping by, see ya Around The Corner!

Sounds like a good morning for both of you. Your comment about W's HD make me chuckle. Enjoy both of the babies. Mo

W-Spouse is so girly....=)

I'm envious of time spent w/babies! And I don't know how you patiently weather waiting for work phone calls....waiting. Ugh.

Forgot to mention that I almost downloaded Contagion last night! Husband said the book was fabulous. Sick Daughter wanted Don't Be Afraid of the Dark instead. Goofy little horror movie. Can't believe Katie Holmes' superstar husband let her do that one.

Hey Cuz remember that Officer has to live with the fact he had to shoot a kid. He was justified in his actions but it doesn't make you feel or sleep any better.

And I love tha Harley in the house I think you should make it a fixture LOL

Warrior is one of the best movies we have seen in a while, if you haven't seen it, see it soon (and I don't like MMA). I really enjoy reading the blog every day, even if I don't comment regularly.

A Harley in the house?

Actually, six months after I moved out of my parents' house (about 30 years ago), Dad bought an airplane kit (Glasair) and put it in my old room.

Insurance against my moving back in?

Late to this but I have to plead guilty to parking my Harley in the living room when I lived in the log cabin. It was more for security than anything else, but it was a great conversation piece.
