From The Corner Of My Mind

* Another beautiful morning. The sun is shining and the wind seems to not be as strong as yesterday. The wind had a bite to it all day yesterday.
* This morning a lady in a car passed me on 287 with Colorado plates on her car. I always take note of which direction an out of plate license is travelling, and try to determine if they are coming or going. Just a habit.
* When my girls were young we would always have them see how many out of state plates they could find while on our trip. I once recognized over 30 different states.
* I'm torn between being truthful to a question I was asked, or just letting it go. Work related.
* Leaning towards letting it go.
* The Panda Express Buffett on 51 South across from the QuikLube in Decatur is very clean. Has some very nice and courteous waiters and waitresses, and the food is excellent. Give it a try.
* McDonalds changed their french fries a while back. I have no reason to eat there anymore.
* Lately, the best fries in town, or at Yesterdays or Braums.
* W-stepson and the rest of the clan met with the Marine recruiter last night. Next step is for him to pass physicals and make sure the hardware on his ankle isn't a problem, then it looks like he will be committing to 4 years.
* I am proud that he is considering this and making plans for the future.
* I wrote a poem (I guess you would call it that) for my mother in law:

   My dear mother in law, you WILL be getting a song. Be patient !!!!
   Remember, the song may not always be music to your ears.
   Many variations of songs can be found if your just open your eyes.
   Sometimes your eyes may find a box full of music, or your hands may
     perhaps find a sack full of music.
   You never know where the music may come from, or how it will appear.
   It might be tomorrow, or it might be a week.
   It could be loud, or it could be soft and flowing.
   But know this, it WILL appear, and when it does, surely it will bring a tear of joy to your eyes.

* MO, have you gotten the song yet?
* Don't tell anyone, but there is a possibility that I may be off for the next 5 days. If not 5, after tomorrow, 4 for sure.
* I'm having severe grand baby and NASCAR withdrawals.
* I had to Google "withdrawals". Spell check said it was wrong, but wouldn't give me an option to change it. I spelled it "withdrawls".
* I bet 90 percent of you would have also.
* UH OH, lots of gals aint going to be happy!
