From The Corner Of My Mind

* It was warm and humid when I left Decatur. Now it is 50 degrees and a cool North wind blowing. It's raining with a small thunderstorm passing over.
* W-spouse and I watched The Help last night. A very long movie, but a good movie. All the gals say that the book is better and goes in to more detail about the lives of the maids, but the movie portrayed that to me. That was a sad time in America. I'm not so sure it's much better now at times.
* This Saturday is Christmas with Mom and Harold. I will be working most of the day. I remind myself, I don't HAVE to, I GET to.
* Ava G has her dedication at Sycamore Baptist Church Sunday morning at 11:00am. Looks like I will be missing our Christmas program at our church.
* A wicked lightning storm just passed, and there was a long delay between the last two posts.
* I saw a nice buck cross in front of my headlights this morning. It was a shooter, when he stopped and looked at me, his horns were outside his ears, but it looked like only a four pointer. He cleared the fence by three feet when he jumped it.
* Next year I plan to start hunting again, if only with my camera.
* I plan on doing a lot of things that I never get around to doing.
* Just wow.
* I can attest to the fact that you don't want to get bit by one.
