* It is a misty wet morning in the oilfield. I'm wet from the knees down already.
* "Sometimes it bees that way". Anyone remember that line from long ago?
* Ava G has bronchitis. She was running a high fever last night.
* W-mom and Papa Harold arrived in from Vegas on Tuesday night. This morning she can't hardly talk. She will be going to the doctor later today.
* Our family Christmas is Saturday night, I hope they all get well before then.
* The bigger our family gets, the greater the chance of someone not being able to attend a celebration any given night. 4 out of 5 of our children, and their significant others all hold jobs. The two oldest boys work shift work at fire departments, each on a different shift. Them being off shift on a Saturday night at the same time doesn't come very often. Throw in on top of that, my girls and one of the boys, each have two families to try to attend things and sometimes the logistics seem impossible.
* The talking animal apps are fun to mess around with. The grand kids love them, and most of them are free.
* The infant death that has been in the news has hit W-spouse really hard. So much in fact, she laid in bed a cried for thirty minutes night before last. The horror that child must have endured is unimaginable, and just the thought that either of our grandchildren ever having to be subject to that is to much for her to take. That in itself is bad enough, but can you just imagine being one of the police that arrived on scene? Can you just imagine being a Paramedic or EMT trying in vain to save that child's life? Can you just imagine being the ER Nurse and ER Doctor that tried to save this small child? I have thought so hard about this the last few days and prayed about it also. I'm not asking God why, but I have questioned why this animal would do such a thing to a 5 month old child. It will take many years for some of these care givers to erase the memories of this tragic event, if they ever will. The only comfort I can find is in knowing that this child is in the arms of the Lord.
* It is also a very sad day when a local blogger would post this tragedy on his blog and let comments go through making a mockery or joking about this situation, just to add totals to his stat counter. Pompous ass.
* Stay safe and dry, see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Their is still an evil spirit in this world. Fortunately, his days are numbered.
Just didn't want you going to sleep without at least one comment...this is it.
i haven't heard the story about the child but from W-spouse and your reactions, i don't even want to think about what must've happened.... evil, pure evil.
