The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.
Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!
How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

From The Corner Of My Mind
* Yeah, I copied and pasted all of that. Amazing nonetheless.
* The next few weeks will be filled for W-spouse and I. Christmas parties at work. Extended family Christmas gatherings and Christmas with our children on Christmas eve will fill nearly every weekend between now and then. Add to that a full work schedule and there will be no rest for the next three weeks.
* We have gotten to visit with both the grand babies the last two nights. They are growing up so fast, and changing every day.
* There were more videos of the talking animals posted on our group message yesterday. We won't be posting those.
* W-spouse keeps asking me what I want for Christmas. It's either a new laptop, or this tool set, or this tool set, or this tool set.
* Or a new one of these!
* Or a new one of these!
* Or a new one of these!
* Or a new one of these!
* Hey, it doesn't hurt to ask!
* Ratherbesailin: Actually I have had this very same argument/discussion with someone else.
Two things that I(and others like me) don't like or agree with not pitting under a caution.
#1. If we keep changing the rules in NASCAR, doesn't it take away from the legitimacy of the sport? It's hard enough already trying to prove that NASCAR is a SPORT, and it's drivers ARE athletes, just like your top NBA,NFL and NHL players
#2. Under the right conditions, not pitting under a caution, or losing your spot on the track for doing so, would give certain teams the upper hand. (I could give you a thousand reasons why, but you watch the sport and you probably can come up with a few of them on your own).
* Our hamburgers are going to start tasting different.
* Hope you have a fine day, see ya Around The Corner!

In the late 1950's I met and shook hands with Billy Graham. Almost as exciting as Tony Stewart, whom I haven't met.....but a friend of mine did.
He had great personal charisma.
Just think; all those years in the public eye and not a hint of scandal. -
