* I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
* I'm working today.
* Due to circumstances beyond my control (i.e. work schedule) I stayed home while W-spouse and #3 stepson went to Austin and spent Thanksgiving with her family.
* Oilfield work can be that way sometimes. Long days, longer nights, weekend work, unexpected last minute schedule changes and so on. I wouldn't have it any other way. No way could I sit in an office for 8 hours everyday with a suit and tie on.
* The money is really good also. That's a big plus in my book.
* Yesterday I had breakfast at IHop, lunch at Braums and finished the day off at W-moms house with a turkey sandwich, fried okra and a huge piece of coconut cream pie.
* My sister made me a whole batch of cookies that I brought home. If W-spouse and #3 W-stepson get home before I do and eat all my cookies, there just might be World War III tonight.
* W-baby momma went Walmart last night to grab a few things during the early Black Friday shopping spree. She said it was stupid crazy. I saw videos on Facebook of the madness. There is no way in heck that I would do that.
* W-spouse and I stood in line at Best Buy a few years ago on Black Friday to get #3 W-stepson a few things that he wanted. NEVER AGAIN will i do that.
* I am just the opposite of most people. I would pay 50% more per item for the opportunity to enter the store and be the only shopper there. Just wander around for a few hours and not be bothered by either pesky sales persons or rude individuals fighting for the last item.
* Hey that's an idea, call it "Secluded Saturday". Just me and Best Buy, W-spouse and the whole Target store.
* According to the local weather stations, tomorrow is going to be nasty. Morning rain and north wind blowing to 35mph.
* The Cowboys pulled off another one.
* The Aggies didn't.
* A person loses their life over an IPod. The people (not children) responsible for this need to either be executed or spend the rest of their lives in jail. They are not fit for society. And don't even argue with me that they can be reformed. They don't understand what repercussion means, and never will.
* Same thing. Death row is the place for this punk.
* This sure was a deadly weekend. A lot of murders and wrecks in the news. After the Airport and Black Friday spots.
* If you have an IPad, you have got to get this. FUN FUN FUN
* If you have a small child and an IPad, you need this. W-spouse tried to buy two last night and only one was available.
* Cool pictures.
* It's fee today. Whatever!
* Time to get to work, see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.
Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!
How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

I tell people all the time that I'd rather PAY to SKIP stupid "Black Friday" than participate. I don't care what the hysterical, frenzy-inducing savings are -- HATE it.
Kathleen,
Since you hate "hysterical" and "frenzy", do you also boycott NASCAR races?
