Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* Busy Busy Busy Day!
* Started out the day swapping out vehicles so that the shop guys could take Black Beauty to get the new B & W hitch installed.
* Finally made it to the location and went right to work getting ready to do a cleanout.
* My manager showed up to relieve me so I could run to the bank. You might ask, "what for"?
* While waiting on my dear wife to get ready for church Sunday morning I recieved a phone call from the fraud company that checks our debit cards. They asked me if I had charged anything on my card at the Speedway gas station in Columbus Ohio for the amount of $319.43. My answer was no. Then they asked if I had charged anything at the Speedway gas station in Columbus Ohio for the amount of $320.19. My answer was again no. They then asked if I had charged $57.00 at Lewis Columbus Ohio. I again answered no. They went on to ask me about other charges that I had actually charged myself. All those were legit. They then blocked my card.
* So this morning I went to the bank and had to fill out forms to dispute theses charges to get my funds back. Then close out my old card and order a new one with a different number. UGHHHHH
* I then made my way back to the location and rigged everything back down because they had just finished up when I got back(good timing). My manager and I then went and had lunch together.
* So here I am, just now getting to relax a bit.
* W-spouse is going to pick up my truck later and take it to have the windows tinted. Thank you Sweety Pie!
* The Black Beauty  has served me well so far. I spent all day Friday and the better part of the weekend swapping everything over from the old truck to the new one. I also went to Tractor Supply and purchased a fuel tank/toolbox combo.
* I also purchased a new fuel transfer pump and installed it all. On the way to work yesterday I filled it up with fuel and was going to give it all a test run when I got to location. I flipped the switch on and.....nothing. I checked all the wiring. Checked all the grounds. Checked everything. I was getting pissed about this time and looked down and saw a number to call the manufacturer. Here is how that conversation went. Now, you guys will understand this, most gals won't.
Me: I just bought one of your pumps and I am having trouble with it.
Them: Give me the model number.
Me: M155S
Them: You have a 110 volt pump, right?
Me: Well #$%^ *&(*% )(*&^^%
Them: Sir? Is something wrong?
Me: No, just the fact that the stupid girl working at Tractor Supply doesn't know the difference in the products she sold me. I should have double checked her. My bad.
Them: Is there anything else I can do to help you.
Me: No thank you.
* The transfer pump I needed is  a 12 volt , not AC 110. So I dissasembled it all, called the manager at TS and he told me to just bring it in and he would swap it out. So I did, trouble was that I had already put diesel in the tank and it had started to siphon through the hose and before I could catch it, fuel got all over my new truck bed and me. Again I repeated some non spiritual words.
* I am going to have to get Re-Baptized and have some Hail Marys said over me before this week is over.
* I did get a three day weekend. I also got to spend some quality time with my beautiful wife and grandkids during the three days.
* It's time for a nap(wink), see ya Around The Corner!

Coulda been worse, you know.

You might have gotten ahold of some computer geek engineer who may have suggested that all you needed to do was to get an inverter to turn your truck's 12VDC into 110 VAC to run your pump.

How's that for a Rube Goldberg solution?

I'm very disappointed in your bad language! It deeply offends my gentle sensibilities. I think that the least that you could do would be to take me with you to Sweetie Pies. Hopefully, a rare ribeye will restore my faith in you.
