The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

From The Corner Of My Mind

* Beautiful cool Spring morning. Thunderstorms are forecast for later in the week.
* 44 years ago today an event forever changed my life. Long ago, I had the run of the house. I was held and cuddled and had my mothers undivided attention. I had it made. My mother was so proud of me and would take such great care in seeing that all my needs and wants were attended too. Then along comes this little blond haired, blue eyed little girl that forever changed my life, and surely rocked my little world. She was always crying and whining and always got her way about everything. She grew up following me around everywhere. If I picked up a toy, she wanted it.
Fast forward 44 years. We have both grown. We have both watched some people in our lives come and go. We both have both helped to create beautiful children that are grown now and on their own. We have both been divorced and had to fall back in line and start over. I finished school and went to work, she finished school and joined the Air Force and went to boot camp. I would have bet a million dollars that she would not have made the first week. She did, and went on to serve in Desert Storm. I will be forever grateful for her service to our country.
Shayne, I love you and miss you. I pray everyday for happiness and success in your recent move to Iowa. Happy Birthday to the greatest sister a guy could have.
* As you can see from the post below, I purchased a new vehicle for work and play. It is a Ford F350 4x4 with the new 6.4 liter diesel engine.
* I started looking 2-3 months ago and have had different salesmen around the Metromess looking for a used one for me. A salesman from Sam Packs Five Star Ford in Carrolton called me last week and informed me that he had a used one that I might be interested in. I looked at it on their website and was interested enough to go test drive it. While there, he mentioned that there was another one that he wanted me to look at and thought it would fit my criteria. It was brand new. I drove it and fell in love. He came in with the numbers and I was shocked. Well....1 hour later I was driving off in a new one. It was the least painful buying experience as I have ever been involved in. I would refer anyone to Five Star Ford in Carrolton. I have the slaesmans info if your looking for a different vehicle.
* I spent all day Friday and most of Saturday getting the new fuel tank/toolbox combo, transfer pump and everything else switched over to the new vehicle. I was stunned at the amount of "stuff" that I had my work vehicle.
* On Tuesday I am getting the goosneck hitch installed and hopefully get the windows tinted.
* W-daughter #2 and Madison surprised me by showing up at church yesterday morning. I was filled with joy, and it brought tears to my eyes.
* It's time to go to work, see ya Around The Corner!

I don't normally buy from dealers, but I did have my best experience at the same dealership. Got what wanted without a hassle. Nice truck, I love the F350's.

We bought from a dealer down in Houston in 2001. Our first new truck. Did everything on line. F350, 4x4 with the 7.3. We still love the truck. Started going to Klemment for service, since it was under warranty, and will say, we have always been taken care of with them. James used to help us, but is no longer there, so we see Scott. Truck is of course, no longer under warranty, but they still see it for almost everything. Have always been happy with service there.
