* It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
* W-spouse and I went to the Metromess yesterday and purchased her bicycle and also the special orthotics for her feet. I hope and pray that the orthotics relieve her pain in the next few weeks. She has been miserable lately and it's starting to bother her that she isn't able to do the things she used too.
* The bicycle is her mothers day present, from me. I know she's not my mother, but it just happened to be close to that occasion. If it had been fathers day, she still would have gotten it.
* I also made a request to W-spouse that she purchase a helmet to wear while riding. Her track record for accidents is over the top, and I just thought it might be a good idea. She told me that "I needed to quit thinking".
* One of our friends and I have a bet to see how long it is before she crashes and skins her knee or elbows up. I said two weeks. Anyone want in on the bet?
* I hope you all know I'm joking, but it is a standing joke between her and our friends.
* Over at LLs place he made mention of a birthday party and mothers day all on the same weekend. Your pain has just begun there big fella. After helping to raise two girls, I think it's fair to say that I might have a little insight into his situation. Wait till they are both teenagers and you have prom, cheerleading, band instruments and so on.
* I wouldn't trade it for anything though. My two girls have turned into two beautiful women, whose path in life has just begun.
* We moved back to the location yesterday where the rig nearly fell over. No storms in sight this time though. Hopefully we will be through here today and get the heck out of here.
* On the way home yesterday from the big city, we stopped by GoGo Gumbo and had supper. Man they can scrape up a great plate of vittles. In city folk talk that means it's a great place to eat.
* This is nearly impossible to accomplish. Hopefully she is still on the boat sleeping one off.
* The poor guy is starving. Let him get a bite or two and he will go away.
* He was probably hungry also, but I don't know if I would set down and eat with him though.
* Nascar related, but you will enjoy the story. What a great tribute to two soldiers.
* Hope you have a great Wednesday, see ya Around The Corner!
EDIT: The two W-daughters are having a garage sale on 1655 just north of HWY 380 on Saturday May 7th. Your presence is requested.

Get a helmet for the bike!!!!!!!!!
We always, always, ALWAYS wear helmets when we ride our horses. Why? Because there are worse things than dying from a head injury. I'm sure she has seen that in her work. I'd hate for my hubby to have to feed me, clean up my drool, and change my diapers.
I give her a week and a half just cause I know her track recoed too...LOL...Just Saying....Love Ya W-Spouse
Really??? two weeks??? Dude you are way over confident,,, 2 days at tops.
