From The Corner Of My Mind

* Temperature was around 60 this morning on the drive over and the wind is blowing already. Another windy day in store it seems.
* Everything that I have done so far this morning has "Went to hell in a handbasket".
* W-spouse and I had a nice quiet meal at Sweety Pies Ribeyes yesterday evening. That is until nearly the end of our meal, she proceeds to find a piece of melted Saran wrap, that resembled a cooked onion, in her green beans. She wasn't a happy camper but she handled it with the waitress very well. Unlike what I wanted to do.
* It looks like our water pressure will be getting better and the streets repaved where we live.
* I have recieved 4 emails just this morning recommending that I purchase some Viagra and Cialis.
* Concerning the packaged Jesus. I thought it was very distasteful. I think it disrepects the very nature of the communion. I will be posting a reply soon. I just ran out of time yesterday.
* In two months, our family will be relaxing on the banks of the Quadalupe Guadalupe River for a week enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Or quite possibly, the sights of bikini clad girls and the sounds of radios floating down the river blaring at high decibel levels. Either way, fun times!
* That cousin of mine that lives down south, wears a badge and carries a gun, that broke his back a couple of months ago. He is still home recovering and should be able to go back to work soon. He has lost about 30 pounds and is looking great. I wouldn't recommend his diet plan though.
* He and I have decided that since we both have sold our motorcycles that on our 50th birthday we will celebrate them together and have wheelchair races. Game on........
* Lake Bridgeport didn't change much with the recent rains.
* My parts just showed up, time for some repair work. See ya  Around The Corner!

EDIT: W-spouse and all the others can kiss my QUADALUPE BUTT!

Never had a quiet meal at Sweetie Pie's because of all those teenage waitresses walking around singing at full volume.

Lake Granbury filled the hell up after the recent rains. Woot.

Quadalupe - does that mean you have four cheeks in your pants?

of all the vacays in my life, the times spent tubing on the Guadalupe River are the absolute best... well except for maybe the dive trips in Jamaica... but the Guadalupe is second on the list ;)

Wspouse! One of my oldest Friends says that all the time, "Love ya, mean it!" Where'd that come from? It's sweet.

Guadalupe....oh, the Husband and I had a very interesting experience down there during the dating days. We'll tell you guys over dinner sometime. It's a good 'un. ;-)

Thanks for giving me your 411 on the packaged Jesus. While we KNOW it's not really Jesus, JAR, I felt it was incredibly demeaning to the act of partaking in communion. By way of comparison: handing out a 3x5" card with "Do you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?" with Yes, No and Maybe boxes to the side. Check the Yes box, hand it to the usher -- you're in like flynn. Pfft. Poor taste and an insult.

I have not been invited! Just because I will be living in the land of ice and snow, does not mean I wouldn't enjoy a week in Texas on the Guadalupe River! Hurt feelings buster!
