Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

From The Corner Of My Mind

* 47 degrees this morning with temps rising into the 60s. With the wind gusting to 20mph at times.
* The crew that went ahead of us to the location didin't get finished over the weekend so we are on standby today. Which equates to me not working. Which equates to me not getting paid today. Which equates to sucking pretty bad.
* Our main TV in the family room went out this weekend so we purchased another. Our local Walmart didn't have the one we wanted in stock, but the Walmart employee scanned it and there was one in Weatherford. Off to Weatherford W-spouse went. We now have a new one.
* The new TV has amazing technology built into it. I discover something new each time I turn it on.
* We made it back to church and Sunday School yesterday. We have missed the last two weeks. Quite a few people said that they had missed us. That feels really good.
* Jeff Gordon blew a tire and hit the wall doing 180 mph during yesterdays race and never came back. Thats a good thing. If he weould do that during every race, life would be good at Around The Corner.
* Tony Stewart got second place. He just couldn't run down the leader. He is now tied for first place in the points chase.
* I still hate Jeff Gordon.
* I spent the better part of Saturday keeping Madison while her parents worked. She NEVER cried the whole time she was here with me. She actually giggled and played most of the time she was here, until her mother came by and woke her up. She was fussy then.
* W-spouse is limping around again. She said it feels like she has pulled a muscle in her leg. Therapy is kicking her butt.
* I need to get on the road. See ya Around The Corner!

ok w-spouse! therapy is supposed to make you better not worse! i think you need to have a "come to Jesus" with that therapist of yours!

being off work sucks... unless of course it's paid leave...

grandbabies are so much fun! and to be able to tell the parents that there was no crying at all... well that's just the icing on the cake :)

Poor W-Spouse....*hugs* to her.

Race Talk = loses me most of the time, except for the Jeff Gordon bits. I can't stand him!! What a tool.

This weather makes me sleepy. ugh!
