* 54 degrees out this morning. It's going to be a beautiful day. Cooler temps headed our way for the weekend.
* This morning when the alarm went off, I looked over at W-spouse and she looked so peaceful and calm. She hasn't rested that well in 2 weeks with all the coughing. She woke up and I petted on her while watching the news.
* I relocated the choke cable, on/off switch and starter button on the welder yesterday. I burned a 3/8" drill out trying to drill one of the holes. The hole was 3/4". I started with 1/4" and stepped up the hole as I went. I guess the drill just over heated. I've had the drill for 15 years, so it was probably time for a new one. W-spouse took me to Lowes where I replaced it with a new 10 Amp Dewalt 1/2" drive. Wow, what a difference. Pictures later, it was dark when I got finished.
* I found an old used BBQ smoker that I'm trying to convince W-spouse into purchasing(hence the petting above). I need a project now that the welder is ready to go.
* I still don't like Jeff Gordon.
* This weeks race is in Las Vegas. Anyone want to sponsor W-spouse and I for a quick trip out there?
* GASOLINE is going up. Not NATURAL GAS. Someone left a comment stating that I should be getting rich the way gas prices are rising. Ignorant people that do not know what they are talking about.
* If natural gas prices would go up, then yes, it would in turn make me more money. Not that I would profit off the gas itself, but in turn I would work more, and my job would be more secure.
* Some of the people that live in our area now, were not here in the early eighties to watch the oil field die. When it dies, so does everything else. There aren't enough rock crushers in our area to sustain the onslaught of unemployed oil field workers either. So, like it or not, it would be a good thing for natural gas prices to rise so a lot of people can keep their jobs and contribute to the economy in our area.
* I remember when every other store in downtown Bridgeport and Decatur were empty. I really don't think any of us would like to see that again.
* Projected prices of diesel fuel alone is enough to cripple most companies. A month ago I was using $100-$250 dollars a day in fuel. Now it is $200-$300 on any given day.
* It used to take $56 to fill up W-spouses pickup. Now it's $70.
* I really don't have a clue why I explained all of that. Whoever made that comment is not smart enough to understand anyway.
* It just gets worse. Leaving children that young to fend for themselves while she was shopping at Target? Unbelievable.
* Im glad that I didn't drink the water while there. I only had a cocktail and bottled water.
* How many of you can still wear yours? There is no way I could fit into my Tuxedo from my prom.
* If you need a good laugh, watch this. Credit BON.
* ATTENTION W-spouse. I need one of these please!
* Have a great hump day, see ya Around The Corner!

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

I would totally contribute to your trip out to watch the race buddy!!!!
Good thing you stuck to cocktails and bottle water while you were partying it up with Hef. Really dodged a bullet there, Corner!
I just love it when you talk about how you and WSpouse interact. Love it. Sweet people.
I had to get my Dress Blue uniform out a couple month ago for Jarhead, Jr. to take to school for some reason or another. It's a size 39R.
Tried to slip my arm in to the sleeve [when no one else was looking] and it fit up to my elbow. I weighed 145 pounds when I marched in my boot camp graduation parade. I think I had a 27 inch waist.
Enough said.
wer have a propane tank in the yard you can HAVE! You haul. Still has residue propane in it, but you can handle that
Honey your propane tank dream has come true, I'm so happy for you.
I didn't go to prom, but, if I would have there's not a snowballs chance in !@#$ that it would fit today.
Listen Charlie Sheen, now I know what all the dreams and talking in your sleep have been about...Goddesses with bacteria infections! roflmao
Lord, we know you are in control and have a plan for everything, please turn our hearts towards you for guidance and peace. We will NOT find it in our government.
Amen
And all he has to do is move some manure around for that propane tank. And we know he can handle a lot of crap, eh?
We better be invited to the tank cooker / smokers first outing when it is done!
