From The Corner Of My Mind

* It was 42 degrees in Decatur and 28 as I passed over Denton Creek. It's 34 on location.
* As W-spouse and I watched the news this morning we both noticed that it ws 28 in Bridgeport 43 in Decatur and 31 in Denton. We both thought that was strange and thought that the Decatur weather station was inaccurate. When I got out on the highway it was showing 42 degrees on the hill in Decatur. Then as I neared Denton it got colder. I suppose it was correct after all.
* W-spouse got to play with both grandkids yesterday. I was jealous.
* The guy that I work with whose wife has been sick. She took a turn for the worse over the weekend and as of yesterday evening wasn't doing so good. He is emotionally drained and needs our prayers. Pray for her healing, and for his strength through this trial please.
* The sunrise is magnificent this morning.
* I have been taking some crappy pictures with my phone the last few days. I have an Otterbox cover for my phone. I checked the lense covering the camera and it was covered in dirt and dust. No wonder my pics have been all fuzzy.
* I helped W-spouse download her pictures from her IPhone to the PC again last night. She may be great with grammar, but she's not great at remembering how to download pictures. That is like the 19th time I have showed her how to do that.
* She threatened to unleash the "Grammar Nazis" on me last night. Whatever!
* Someone, somewhere must think that I need a lot of Viagra and Cialis. I get spammed constantly with emails offering their wares.
* There is going to be a presentation meeting on Sexting and internet predators, along with the dangers of Social networking sites at the Decatur High School tonight.
* While typing this, I looked up and there were 3 deer standing in a field not far away. To far away for a picture, so you can believe that or not.
* I have a problem with my 2007 GMC 2500 that someone might can help me with. On days when it is cold in the morning, I turn the heater controls to 80-85 degrees. As it warms up during the day, I try to turn the AC switch on and the temperature back down to 61 degrees, the AC will not kick on. The button light just flashes. It only comes back on after driving the vehicle for a few miles and then it will cycle. All the pressures in the system are within normal limits, that has been checked. Is it a relay switch or?
* Our main most watched TV is acting up. Not a good thing.
* I got a comment yesterday saying that I was stupid for advertising the welding trailer on here making it an easy target for someone to steal. You could be right. You could also get a bullet between the eyes or in your butt depending on the angle of the shot, and of course my accuracy.
* 190 square miles equates to a very large fire. I helped fight the "Jack/Wise county fire a few years ago. It was exhausting and took a toll on equipment and firefighters. I can't even imagine one that is 190 sqaure miles.
* Remember when I said "There is no excuse for this". Well, I told you so.
* I hope you have a wonderful day. See ya Around The Corner!

On the daycare fire in Houston, it's so hard to wrap my head around it. I mean how could she be so irresponsible to leave the house with children unattended? I don't fault her so much for the burner being left on, who hasn't done that? But, if she had been there and smelled it, the fire NEVER would have occured and those children would still have gotten to go home with their families that night. Lord heal their hearts and give them peace.

And the fires, being the mother of 2 firefighters and the wife of a former Bridgeport volunteer firefighter, I am thankful that they are not having to fight that fire. That being said, if we currently had a local situation like that I would be proud and confident if they were.
Lord protect the firefighters and those affected by the fires in Amarillo.

Answers? I don't know the questions. said...

The problem with your heater and AC is that you have a heater and AC that reads temps like 85 and 61 degrees. You should just stick to the plain jane blue and red colored knobs. Problem solved.

My AC/heater in my 05 GMC Yukon does the same thing. Everytime I take it to the shop it wont do it.
