From The Corner Of My Mind

* 34 degrees on the ride over this morning. Temperature is going to get into the mid 60s by evening.
* I come to you this morning once again asking for a prayer request for one of my co-workers. His wife has been in the hospital with pneumonia like symptoms since last Tuesday. They transferred her to Witchita Falls on Sunday to treat her more aggresively. She took a turn for the worse yesterday and they called the family in. I spoke with him last night at 9pm and things were bad. I haven't heard from them this morning. Please help me in praying for her and their family today. Thank you.
* W-spouse coughed all night. She needs to go to the doctor today. I hope she sees a lesson in the above post.
* I put the first coat of black paint on the welding trailer late yesterday. I didn't get any pictures because it was dark when I got everything cleaned up. It doesn't look professional. I'm not a painter. I hate to paint. I don't like painting. Painting disturbs me. I will continue though, even though I have zero talent in that area.
* It doesn't look bad, but I just couldn't figure out the new paint sprayer that Papa had for us to use. Then an air hose burst. By the time I got it fixed, I started loosing daylight fast. I emptied the sprayer pot and cleaned up. I hope in the daylight that it looks ok. I keep telling myself that it's just a welding trailer, it's not a 55 Chevy.
* A few more things about the winner of the Daytona race. He was so excited that he passed up the road going to Winners Circle. He didn't know how to get there. He drove his own vehicle to the track for Speedweek. He didn't fly, couldn't afford to. He didn't have a million plus motor home to stay in. The winner of the race is required by NASCAR to attend promotional events post race, from Monday-Thursday all across the US. He didn't bring any nice clothes to the race. He only had shorts, jeans and tennis shoes. He had to go shopping Monday morning for nice clothes to attend the events.
* A commentor brought it to my attention that a car was sponsored by North Texas Pipe. I didn't see that and I still have the race on DVR, so I am going to go back and look for it.
* We got to sneak a visit in with Madison yesterday. she is getting so big. She starts fussing when I hold her though. It's starting to hurt my feelings.
* Ava G will be walking before you know it. She's just 7 months old and she is a little busy body. She will pull up and stand up all alone. She has a jumper that she plays in and she wears me out bouncing in that thing. Like the Energizer Bunny, she just goes on and on and on.
* It's a blessing to us to get to watch two such beautiful girls growing up.
* Oh, my bad yesterday in the post about my sister, it's the ACM not CMA. I even asked myself yesterday when I posted that "Doesn't the CMAs come on in like Nov-Dec"? Get your facts right there buddy.
* Just recieved a text from W-spouse. She's at physical therapy right now and has an appointment at the Doctor after that. Good girl!
* Gotta run, remember to keep my friends wife in your prayers today please. See ya Around The Corner!

Already stopped and said a prayer for your friends wife. How frightening that is. You just never know, man that's scary.

Also sending mojo to WSpouse to keep that doc appt and take care of herself!!

We women are so bad about putting our own care off in favor of taking care of others, or taking care of business.
