Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* 34 degrees this morning on the ride over. Temps in the 50s today, but tomorrow evening through Thursday morning is not looking good again.
* I noticed that she meesed up. Did you?
* Not only did she blow it on one of the biggest stages of the year, she destroyed the National Anthem. I can't stand to hear anyone sing the National Anthem when all they are trying to do is show off the vocal range of their voice. I like some of her music, but I have lost all respect for her now. Ridiculous.
* I liked the halftime show. W-spouse noticed the audio problems, but I didn't. I'm a Black Eyed Peas fan, so I enjoyed it. I liked the way they added Slash in there, but they could have left usher out and it would have been just as good.
* The game: Well played by both teams. Turnovers lost the game for Pittsburgh. We were rooting for the Steelers, and I feel like had they not had the turnovers, that they would have won the game. IMO.
* We didn't watch the post game show, instead opting to catch up on Big Love, but I heard this morning that the MVP went to Rodgers. I think it should have went to Nelson. Although he dropped 3 catchable balls, he still made the plays that counted. But I don't care for Rodgers.
* The "Tiny Dancer" commercial was funny.
* The Budweiser and Bud Light commercials were funny.
* I also liked the Chrysler 200 Eminem commercial.
* The Beaver saving the guy was cool.
* I should have kept notes, because there were a few more that were good.
* Am I the only one that thinks Apple Itunes has an update every month? Enough already!
* I'm back working today. I have been off since Friday the 28th of January.
* There is a open top tank on this locaton that was left full of water last week. It had a foot of ice on the top of it and the sides were frozen 6" thick.
* W-spouse is spending her first day alone at home on the crutches. She better not over do it while I'm not there. Honey, are you listening?
* Madison is doing great. That RSV wreaks havoc on babies. She still sounds raspy at times, but she's back to her happy smiling self again.
* Her mom and dad are also smiling, they got a new TV that I helped them install on Friday just in time for the Super Bowl.
* Stepdaughter #2 slipped on the ice and fell off her front porch onto her knee. She just bruised it, but she said it "hurts like hell" to walk on it.
* I was involved in a 293 comment post Friday night on Facebook. When I woke up Saturday, it took me an hour to delete all my messages in my email boxes on my Ipad, IPhone and PC. I have changed the settings now and hope that don't happen again.
* Horrible.
* Spread the word, this needs to go!
* Time to go to work, see ya Around The Corner!

You're still griping about that??? ;-)

Aguilera botched it and yes, aggravated the hell out of us with her showcase of trilling. Just sing the damn song!

I LOVED Slash popping up! I was like, "Hey! The show is starting now!!" I like the Peas but the audio problems annoyed me...as Donald has pointed out, "$1.2 billion buys what??" The kids LOVED the lights and blinking...so "spacey." It was sorta funny watching Usher trying to get out of that rope! "OMG!" lol
