Please keep this family in your prayers. In my industry, things like this can happen in the blink of an eye. Fortuantely I don't have to work on drilling rigs very often. My work is mainly on the production side of things. It is just as dangerous, but fatalities are less common than around a drilling rig.
We watch each other out here and strive to maintain a safe work environment. Accidents do happen, but we work really hard to be able at the end of the day to go haome and see the family.
Again, remember this family in your prayers.

Reading things like this FREAKS me out!! I always call my brother first to make sure it's not him. They shouldn't post anything until family has been notified and name can be released.

I heard about this, and its tragic! Have a lot of respect for these workers.
