Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* For the first time in a few weeks, it was ABOVE the freezing mark on my way to work. A low of 37 degrees. Thats better!
* W-spouse worked till 11pm last night. I'm sure her butt was dragging, but I wasn't awake to know. I went to bed at 8 and crashed till the alarm went off this morning.
* She was already up and dressed again, headed out the door when my alarm went off. I hope to catch a hug tonight at some point!
* I have been looking for a work truck. Looking on the net and calling around. Yesterday I spoke with a salesman at a local dealership about a used vehicle on his lot. Conversation went like this:
Me: I'm wanting some information on the vehicle on your lot out there, it's the (insert vehicle info).
Him: Uhhhhh, I don't see that one on here, our computers are slow today, Uhhhhh I think its a 2008 model.
Me: What are you asking for it?
Him: I don't know. I think ....Yadayadayada
Me: So let me get this straight. Your a salesman?
Him: Yes
Me: I'm a customer calling about a vehicle and you don't know anything about your product, how many miles, price, what year model it is or anything?
Him: Sir our computer is slow.
Me: Do you have two legs? I'm setting out here in the lot beside it and all you have to do to answer two of those questions is to get off your lazy @ss and bring the keybox out here and open the door so I can look at the inspection sticker. Since you probably don't know how to find that key, just forget it and I will go somewhere else. Have a nice day.
* If I were to talk to my customer like that about our product or our services, I would be fired there on the spot and my reputation wouldn't allow me to work for anyone else either.
* I hate buy vehicles. I would hate even more being a vehicle salesman.
* A close relative of mine was fired from being a car salesman, because he would not lie. Really.
* Another thing I hate is when someone dosen't call you back.
* Ok, I got that all out. Thanks for listening.
* Our Unity Prayer Project started this week at our church. I'm very excited about being involved in it. My first day was a success.
* I hope your day is full of Peace and Happiness, see ya Around The Corner!

You made one mistake in your dealings with the salesman. You should have asked for the manager or the owner and related your experience. Some would say that's being vindictive. Not at all. As a business owner, I want to know how my employees represent me.

My Mr. makes me negotiate and buy our cars. They never know what hit 'em. I don't scorch the parking lot though....that's just weird. ;-)
