From The Corner Of My Mind

* A cloudy and humid cool morning. Temps in the upper 40s.
* W-stepson got recognized at the Decatur Sports banquet last night. We are so proud of him.
* I forgot to mention that Saturday I drove over to Anna Tx and attended a powerlifting meet and watched W-stepson lift. It occured to me while watching that it doesn't take a very big person to lift a whole lot of weight. One kid was maybe 5'6", went maybe 200 pounds. Dead lifted 465 pounds. After the final results were posted online, out of all the participants, in all the meets on Saturday, W-stepson was ranked 7th overall in his weight class. "Thats Purty Good".
* I have been extremely tired the last few mornings when I get up. I have slept good. Just wake up tired.
* We have made final arrangements for securing the house on the Guadalupe River in June. That is going to be fun for the family.
* I might just hang out on the deck over the river all week and bikini people watch.
* My cousin that lives down south, that wears a badge and carries a gun legally, Facetime called me last night. I had already gotten in bed and so was he. Now if anyone would have walked in and overlooked either of our phones, they might have taken that the wrong way. Neither of us had a shirt on.
* I had thought that we might go to the Stock Show either this weekend or next. I thought wrong. Babysitting duties, another powerlifting meet, W-spouse on call and church have just about ruled out any chance of that this year.
* W-spouse has never been to the State Fair. We are going to try to do that this year also.
* Time to go to work for awhile, see ya Around The Corner!

When I was a child, my Grandma would take us to the State Fair when we'd visit her. Then we grew up....

Not long after my husband & I were newly married, he took me to the State Fair again. You just brought back some nice memories with your plans to take your Mrs. Thanks. =)

Have a lovely, lovely day! And big KUDOS to the boy on his powerlifting!

Are you sure that you can wait until June with the lack of bikinis in your hot tub?

Tell W-stepson his old youth minister said congrats on the power meet and keep it up! If he is doing this good he has a good shot at state this year or next! Also do you have any info you can pass along on the cabin rental? that sounds pretty awesome
