* 44 degrees on the drive over. Cloudy and overcast, very humid.
* Report on night #2 and #3 without W-spouse. #2 supper at Wendys, go to bed. #3 Attempt to eat with family at GoGo Gumbo. 1 1/2 -2 hour wait = Fail. Ended up at Prontos in Bridgeport. Sister and I shared a bottle of wine with dinner. Got home and was in bed by 8:30pm. Again, no bikini clad women in the hot tub. No wild parties. Proof that my life has changed dramatically over the last 5 years.
* W-spouse arrived home yesterday evening. W-dog was very excited to see her, so was I. Report on W-mother-in-law was that she was progressing well.
* My sweet sister-in-law sent me a bottle of dessert wine and a box of chocolates. She is good about things like that.
* Listening to Mike Gallager(sp) on AM 660 this morning. Westboro Baptist Church is supposed to be on there. A bunch of crazies. IMO
* We watched a special on TLC last night about Ted Haggard. He is now starting a new church in Colorado Springs. He is already living in a huge house, horses running around. In the barn, there were 4 4 wheelers, 2 motorcycles, a snowmobile and he was driving a Cadilac Escalade. Less than 3 years ago he and his family were living in a hotel room.
* Big Love resumed on HBO last night. I love that show.
* I put the seal back in the welder this weekend and Papa is going to get a leak fixed in the radiator. We will put it back together then and begin the paint process. Don't know when, but soon.
* I was looking in the back of my closet over the weekend and found a black leather jacket. I got it out and tried it on. It fit. I had to call W-spouse and ask her where it came from. She bought it for me last year and I had forgotten about it. I wore it all weekend. If you ask me, I looked really good in it.
* I got to see Madison on Saturday. She is getting so big, and aware of everything. Her mother makes her smile and it nearly makes me cry.

Glad W Spouse #1 made it home safely!! Now maybe she can whip up a batch of those apple turnover thingies, since W Spouse #2 dropped the ball on that ;) hahahaha
A baby's first smiles are so dear -- they're a big, "Hello, World! I'm a little Person with a personality in here!!" =) My brother fell in love with my daughter when he held her for the first time and she made a wry, sarcastic little half-smile at him. He's been in love with her ever since.
Babies are heaven.

W-sister wants to state we did not exactly "share" the bottle of wine at Prontos, I had about 2 drinks of the white wine (yucky, not my favorite), and a single glass of the red one. W-sister-in-law, I did like the red one. We must share a bottle when you are there to join in. I will try to find somewhere to buy one for next weekend. W-brother thinks the wine I drink is too bitter and uppity for him. As for GoGoGumbo, we will make it happen very soon, but will go much earlier in the evening to keep from waiting so long. Last comment, you would not have even gotten to watch Big Love if I did not remind you. Sisters are good for something sometimes!!
Oh, I forgot to tell you that you did look very nice in your leather coat this weekend. Your wardrobe has greatly improved over the last few years. As for Madison, the only reason you got to hold her, was because I had my arm in a sling. This weekend will all be mine.
I had Big Love tivoed, but you reminded me to watch it in real time sis. Thanks though, because I was headed to bed when you text me.
