Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* My rear view mirrow was showing 26 degrees on the ride over. Somewhere around the county line you could tell that it had snowed more over here than in Decatur. I don't know if it snowed more, or just didn't melt.
* It was freezing rain all the way over and the overpassess were slick. Be careful going East on 380 if you have to drive over here this morning.
* As it is getting daylight you can see that nearly everything here is covered in snow and ice. I'm glad that I am not the one that goes up in that derrick this morning. All my work is ground level.
* W-mother-in-law should be going in to surgery for knee replacement about 7am today. Please keep her in your prayers. She has a long road of rehab ahead of her.
* When we got ready for church yesterday, I looked outside and it had started snowing. I told W-spouse that she needed to get on the road and get out ahead of the snow. She did, and it snowed on her nearly to Waco. My bad.
* While watching the ball game on FOX yesterday they were promoting the Daytona race in late Febuary. I'm getting excited already. They also kept referring to Jimmy Johnson as the "Dominator". This morning on Sirius NASCAR radio they were already making fun of that. For those of you that don't know, Dale Earnhart Sr was called the "Intimidator" before his death. His many legion of fans are taking offense to that.
* To all those people on Facebook yesterday that were saying how pretty the snow was, BITE ME.
* Very interesting sermon yesterday concerning the genealogy of Jesus. He had as many "Rats In The Woodpile" as my family. Luke 3: 23-38. Some you will recognize, most you won't.
* I watched W-dog when I let him out this morning. He was tip toeing around like he was walking on needles. I thought, "I feel your pain" my friend.
* W-spouse, I missed you last night. I missed your beautiful smile and your warm hug this morning. Be careful coming home.
* Wrap up this morning if you venture out. Be careful on your drive, see ya Around The Corner!

Hahaha, the BITE ME comment had me choking on my coffee as I sit on my spoiled *ss in my warm office. I'm sorry Mr. Corner!!! That snow surely is 'purdy' when we don't have to be out working in it though...
