From The Corner Of My Mind

* It was 40 degrees on the rear view mirror on the way over here this morning. A beautiful sunrise with glowing reds and orange colors.
* Next Tuesday and Wednesday you are going to like setting/sitting behind your cozy little desks with the warm heater on. Me.........not so much. The weather peeps said something about temperatures in the 20s and 30s, drizziling rain and or sleet and snow flurries. Marvelous weather to have when you work out side.
* What was that I was saying a few weeks ago. Something about.....I dont HAVE to, I GET to. Please remind me of that next week.
* We missed church last week and I truly missed being there. It is looking like we will miss this week also. My dad, who rarely comes to visit us is coming up this weekend to see Madison. Our church Christmas Party/Pot Luck Supper/Talent show is Sunday night. I'm making plans to attend.
* The season finale of Boardwalk Empire is Sunday night. Remind me to set the DVR please.
* The next few weeks are going to be fast and furious with all the things we have planned to do. This weekend kicks off with the annual Watson Christmas on Saturday. Aunt Bonnie has carried on the tradition that her parents started many years ago. Girls, thanks for your efforts in making this happen. It warms my heart to spend this time with you and your family, that you so graciously welcomed me into and made me a part of so many years ago. I love each of you dearly.
* Next weekend is our company Christmas party on Friday night, and some friends have an apartment loft in Downtown Cowtown that they have invited us to share on Saturday night. Might have to check out Petes Piano Bar that night, because W-spouse and I like to sing and dance along with the tunes.
* This well we are working on is still wreaking havoc with us. We haven't made 1 inch of headway since Tuesday. Today is looking better, but that's subject to change.
* Neither W-spouse or I got to hold and kiss a grandbaby yesterday. We HAVE to make that happen today.
* This drives me nuts.

Texas Bank Robber

A hooded robber burst into a Texas bank and forced the tellers to load a
sack full of cash. On his way out the door, a brave Texas customer grabbed
the hood and pulled it off revealing the robber's face.
The robber shot the customer without a moment's hesitation. He then looked
around the bank and noticed one of the tellers looking straight at him. The
robber instantly shot him also.
Everyone else, by now very scared, looked intently down at the floor in
silence. The robber yelled, 'Well, did anyone else see my face?'
There are a few moments of utter silence in which everyone was plainly
afraid to speak. Then, one old cowboy tentatively raised his hand, and while
keeping his head down said,
'My wife got a pretty good look at you.'
