Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* The temps were in the mid 40's on the rear view mirror this morning. There is supposed to be some drastic changes in the weather around the middle of next week.
* The well we are working on still had not calmed down yesterday morning and we got sent home for the day.
* We are trying a different strategy this morning, fingers crossed.
* We got to catch up on Tivo last night, watching two shows. Sons Of Anarchy and Glee. SOA ended the season with possibly one of their greatest shows yet. Lots of drama, twists and of course violence. The actor that plays the Chief of Police (he also played Charlie Utter in Deadwood) Wayne Unser is in my opinion a great actor. He has to play a good guy/bad guy role and he is constantly torn between his position as Chief and his loyalty to the club. He is also suffering through cancer and the fact that he is maried to a Native American that cares little for him. Before he put his part of the plan in motion last night, he reached into the police car and pulled out a joint and lit it up, right in front of the Federal Agent. What he said next explains my point. He says "I'm a stage three cancer patient and I don't get to enjoy many perks". Little did she know he was going to enjoy the next five minutes very much.
* Glee? Yes I watched Glee again. I do not like the fact that this show is all about throwing the "Gay" scenes in your face. I do like the music and the short musicals that they entertain you with. There is some very good and talented dancers and singers on that show. Nuff said.......
* Thanks for all the responses to the Question yesterday. I will look into the options and decide. The Texas Tuition Program sounds what we are looking for.
* W-stepson #3 gets his drivers license today. Be aware, I warned you.
* That last point was a joke, he is actually a very good driver and rarely do we have to correct him on things.
* Some of my peoples are going to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas next week. Don't tell them, but I'm jealous. I'm not so much jealous of the Rodeo, but the fact that this starts Nascar week in Vegas. All the Nascar dignitaries are there for the awards banquets and many other events that will take place all of next week. Next year I might have to make that a 2 into 1 trip.
* Have a great day, you will be in my prayers today. See ya Around The Corner!
