Welding Trailer Day 6

Today started with building the overhead racks to carry sheet iron and metal on. I had found a 3" nipple that a 2 7/8" collar fit down in to very snug. I welded a 2" pipe in the collar and welded the 3" collar into holes I cut into the floor. I then built the racks and welded them onto the top of each pipe. I didn't get finished grinding them down though. The next step is to pin them at the bottom for easy removal when not needed. I them filled in the holes in the ends of the brace, and on top of the brace that holds the oxy/act bottles and ground them down smooth. Then I added a piece of angle iron to the oxy/act holder brace that I will be moving the starter button, ignition switch and choke cable to.

Does anyone know where you can get something like this trailer sandblasted reasonably cheap?

W-b-law says found new doors for $262 each, but patience will pay off if we wait to see if contacts can hook us up. He has a line on two good used doors. Patience....

Sounds great! We don't have to paint the welder now anyway. We can get the trailer prepped, primed and painted. While we have the welder off the trailer, Papa and I are probably going to fix the oil leak anyway. So that will leave us plenty of time to paint the welder while we have it apart.
