Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone
The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.
Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!
How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

Gunslinger ;-)
I would have had the opportunity to be a wife and mother without working 60 hours a week far from our home.
Does backshooter count as a gunslinger? I could have been a huge success!
Butter churner.
Blacksmith
JJ(txtrigger), I could honestly see you being a gunslinger!
Rancher
And seriously, I would have NOT wanted to have been born in that time era. Those women worked MORE than 60 hours a week tending to way too many kids, and jobs on the homestead. Popping out lots of kids so they would have more to help work the farm, and extras to make up for those who died young.
Yep, Gunslinger... lol
Hand
Probably would have been a farmers wife, too opinionated, a little mouthy! Something like...what are we planting, when are we planting, where are we planting, why are we planting? Rinse, lather, repeat for harvesting. Definately a sense of humor to deal with all the children and their shenanigans. Or...hopped a stagecoach and headed to the big city to run a saloon, Wmadaam. Just thinking about it gives me a greater appreciation for indoor plumbing, toilet paper, electricity, a/c, and fast food!
I would be like Miss Kitty!
Probably the same one I have now: washer woman, cleaning lady, wagon driver...nursemaid....;-)
Cattle baron and owner of several cattle drives. Would tag along for the adventure.
Marshal Dillon of course
Saloon keeper...and all that entails...
