From The Corner Of My Mind

* It was cool this morning, not cool like Fonzie, cool like cold.
* We have had some serious issues to deal with at Around The Corner the last four days. It's not been pretty. Keep us in your prayers. They have been our comfort since Thursday. Thanks.
* As we walked into Sunday School yesterday,our lesson touched base concerning the issues we have had. Gods intervention perhaps? I believe so.
* W-spouse is a thinker. I'm a reactor. Her way is much better. She is a rock. She doesn't want to be, but she is. How she doesn't have high blood pressure problems I will never know. Her job, sleep schedule, parenting, me, me, me. That all equals high blood pressure.
* Late yesterday afternoon I posted a question on Facebook asking if the Rangers had won Friday night. It was a joke. There were some that thought I was serious. Honestly, who could not know that?
* We had a wonderful dinner with W-sister and W-b law, W-mom and Papa Saturday at Gogo Gumbo. They were impressed, and we all had to much to eat.
* We drove through the Obi hood after eating. That girl lives in a Mansion on the hill. Honestly, I expected more jungle type surroundings, with armed security guards :) The treehouse is looking good!
* Over at Jars place we have been in a discussion about friends and who qualifies as such. The last four days would have been a lot tougher if not for a few FRIENDS. A few of which I have NEVER met.
* I have been holding my own in three games out of seven in WWF. I think Mz is baiting me though. I'm currently winning but I feel a couple of 50 point plays coming to leave me in the dust.
* W-spouse was typing a letter and she spelled "materiel". I said it should be "material". Man was I ever wrong. After spell checking it, it recognized both. So we googled the definitions and found out the correct answer. Now I owe her. I hope she makes me do the dishes instead of a foot rub or something!
* An hour has passed since I made that last bullet point, I had to get out and tend to a situation.
* A welder that is out here helping us today and I got into a long conversation about our welders. He has one very similar to mine at home. He gave me some rods to try out. Heck of a nice guy!
* His truck that he is in is a work in progress. He hasn't finished everything out like he wants it. I quess us guys are just that way. Never satisfied.
