From The Corner Of My Mind

* It's another beautiful day in Texas!
* W-spouse and I ended up in Dos Chilis last night instead of Gogo Gumbo.
* Saw some old friends from over Bridgeport way at Dos Chilis. It was nice getting to visit with them.
* I don't know as many people over there now as when I lived there. I don't recognize anyone, and it has only been 5 years.
* I will probably catch some slack for this next thought, but I think in the next few years, Bridgeport will be what Newark was to Wise county a few years ago.
* Is it strange that there are streets in Bridgeport that are still not paved or taken care of by the city. But yet they have all that downtown striping the streets and stop sign stuff going on.
* I also think that as you enter the city from the east, the trailer house place needs to be imploded and hauled off.
* Now before you start going off on here, I also think that Decatur has its problems. As you enter Decatur from the north, there are some not so pretty sites. And that smell in Decatur from the sewer plant every morning is just ridiculous.
* Thats pretty good, it's the battle of the Big Sandy week and I am adding to the fire.
* We got the scoop on the differential in the Dodge last night. It now has to be removed for repair. When we get through repairing things on this vehicle, it should be like brand new!
* There are 4 people currently in the Hospital at Decatur that are very close to our family. One broken hip, one total knee replacement, one with heart problems and another they arent quite sure whats going on.
* If my W-mom didn't have that boot on, I'm sure she would be all up in the middle of that. Actually, she was there for a while yesterday. Wouldn't surprise me if she was back over there today.
* I need to get out and go to work, see ya Around The Corner!
