Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

From The Corner Of My Mind

* Wow it's a beautiful day. Makes a person glad to be able to be outside and enjoy it!
* W-spouse has reminded me numerous times that there is a bonfire at the school tomorrow night. I think she is more excited than the kids are about it.
* We got caught up on Tivo last night. Watched another episode of Boardwalk Empire. I'm not feeling it about this show. No where near Soprano quality. Oh yes, there is plenty of drama and killing. I just can't get wrapped up in it.
* There is also a lot of nudity. Why must you have that to make good show?
* Pulled the cover off the rear differential on the Dodge last night. Although I know nothing about rear ends, there seems to be a lot of slack and noise that I'm pretty sure isn't supposed to be there. W-stepsons dad is dropping by to check it out tonight. He's an expert in that field.
* I've heard that ATT had some bad problems with service Saturday. I made 5 calls to W-preggo daughter in a span of 2 minutes and 5 calls to a friend in 2 minutes. All got dropped. Finally gave up and started texting.
* W-spouse and I have the house alone tonight. This guy might get lucky. Or might not.
* I had a commentor yesterday seem to think that I was insinuating(sp) something bad. My mother reads this blog, along with my children. I try to keep it as clean as possible.
* I had another blog a few years back that I simply stated whatever the heck was on my mind at the time, very similar to Silicone Alleys blog. I can assure you, my life has changed enough in the last few years to know that I don't have to say things like that to get my point across.
* Those that have known me for awhile, know exactly what I am saying to be true.
* I need to get back to work, see ya Around The Corner!

I don't know you at all, Corner, but I do understand about changing the language one uses. I sometime wonder what people used to think about the way I talked.

Who says you can't teach old dogs new tricks?

Boys, kudos to you. Myself? Still a Happy Sailor. Can't help but enjoy the childish freedom of it, as goofy as that sounds.....but I'll admit to being positively mentored by The Donald by way of THINKING before I type of late. =) xo I do hate to disappoint my friends with my Self.

My first blog was quite different too....I don't miss it at all. Different time, different place. I like where I am now much better. =)
