Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

* I'm having a hard time coming up with a catchy name for my daily thoughts so here's the deal. Help me come up with a name for it please. The winning phrase that I choose from may, or may not get an all expenses paid trip to Disneyland, or in case I choose a combination of any two, it could even be an all expenses paid trip to the Australian Outback, or maybe not.
* I really would like to have your ideas!
* I'm really not going to reward you other than a plug on the blog!
* The rig crew that I work with, and I get to work nearly 30 minutes early everyday. Another crew that has been working in close proximity to us, we have seen them drive by as much as 15 minutes late. They got released yesterday.
* I'm not saying that is the reason, but if we get released, it will NOT be for THAT reason.
* I'm a getting somewhere early type of person, W-spouse isn't.
***SHAMELESS PLUG*** If there was a bright and shiny new model of my wife somewhere on a showroom floor, I wouldn't do the upgrade. I love her just the way she is!
* We took the camper over to Jacksboro State park last night and set it up. We saw many deer, a beautiful sunset and got to eat hamburgers cooked on the grill outdoors. We needed a quiet peaceful evening. Thanks E and T for the company, food and drinks!
* Thinking that it might not be so peaceful Saturday with cannons going off during the Civil War re-enactment. I hope to have pictures of the event up next week.
* Thanks W-mom and W-papa for use of the camper!
* We loaded up the "Redneck Golf" game last night to take with us this weekend.
* I Googled that for all you "City Folks".
* Yesterday I was told my Blog had a Redneck/Country accent to it. Who would have ever thought that?
* There are debates going on on the other side of the blog street in the comments section that I really enjoy reading. I had a conversation with one of the participants awhile back and this is a response I recieved.

" I honestly believe, most people have more in common than they're willing to admit. I think most people's differences are born out of nothing more than having a different perspective based on having different experiences"

* I didn't get permission to repeat that, but I thought the statement was so very true and worthy of sharing.
* I present to you today Jason Boland and the Stragglers. I couldn't find the song that I wanted you to hear, which is Blowin Through The Hills, here is another one I  hope that you will enjoy.

* I listen to all types of music, but as of late I have been stuck on Texas Country. Hope you will broaden your mind and listen to some TC also.
* Posting will be slow over the weekend, see ya Around The Corner!

I LOVE the first suggestion! You could even shorten it to "From the Corner of [Monday, Tuesday, Crankys, Happiness...etc., etc]?"

And I love that Wspouse visits your blog and leaves her thoughts. =) The ObiSpouse thinks blogging is stupid. Pfft!
