Day 1 Welder Trailer

First day we removed all the side rails and ramp.

Cutting off the ramp.

Tomorrow we set the welder on the trailer and check for correct tongue weight.
I will not be blogging as much. I have a new toy right now!

And remember, kiddos, always wear a FULL FACE shield when doing post-welding grinding.

I did just a teenie bit o' welding early last week, no big deal. Sunday night, I had a scratchy eye, thought I'd gotten some drywall dust in it on Saturday helping a friend install a kitchen ceiling fixture.

Splitting headache Monday, super sensitive to light. Stayed home.

Went to work Tuesday. Mid-morning, looked at my eye up close in the men's room mirror and saw a little speck.

Eye doc said it was a sliver of metal, largely dissolved/disintegrated, but left a rust ring. She used a Dremel tool or somesuch to get it out.

Returned for a quick check up Wednesday, healing is going well.

Eye doctor is way pretty, and very nice, but married.

Bummer.
