Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

* Want to begin this morning wishing one of the most special women in my life a Happy Birthday.
I Love you W-mom. Thank you for all that you do for me and my family. I treasure our time together. It is going by so fast and I really don't want to miss anymore.
* W-mom is a caregiver. She has taken care of many elderly people, always staying by their side to the end. Where she gets the stamina I will never know.
* W-mom had a spill on her scooter that she gets around on after her surgery. Pretty sure she's going to have to have the ankle looked at today. It wasn't a pretty site last night.
* W-mom has since slowed way down, with good reason.
* I got on her about it, I shouldn't have, I would have done the same thing.
* Edit to previous post: W-daughter wants to recant her statement about Friday nights two moons. She read an article in the paper saying it was an email hoax. I'm not editing my statement about the preggo thing messing with her head though :)

* Didn't start off real good this morning. My bad........nuff said.
* I think satellite radio is great. I love terrestrial radio, but there are too many commercials. I drove 35 mins this morning only to listen to one song. Back to satellite radio for me.
* By the way, "terrestrial radio" is a Howard Stern saying.
* Yes, I listen to Howard Stern from time to time.
* We have a camping trip planned soon to watch a Civil War re-enactment. I'm looking forward to it.
* Had a very late supper with W-spouse last night at I-Hop. It wasn't very "Hopping" in there.
* W-spouse is a nurse, something I always wanted to be. Her job is very demanding, and she's good at it. I have trouble pronouncing medications, so I'm pretty sure I would be an immediate failure.
* I'm also pretty sure that just knowing the meds and pronouncing them isn't the hardest thing, nor the most demanding thing she does.
* I spent 16 years volunteering on the Bridgeport Fire Department. Loved most every minute of it.
* 2 oldest W-stepsons are professional fire fighters. Both are nearing state testing for Paramedic license.
* See ya Around The Corner!
