Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself. Harvey S. Firestone

The people with whom you work reflect your own attitude. If you are suspicious, unfriendly and condescending, you will find these unlovely traits echoed all about you. But if you are on your best behavior, you will bring out the best in persons with whom you are going to spend most of your waking hours.

Some people get spiritual because they see the light and some people get spiritual because they feel the heat!

How do you know if you're truly a servant? See how you react the next time someone treats you like one.

* First game of the season tonight for youngest W-stepson. Good luck, I know that you will do well and that you will give it your best.
* I'm thinking that around 19:30 today that you could just about walk into any restaraunt in any town in North Texas and sit right down without waiting on a table.
* I graduated from a school that wasn't large enough to have a football team. I never understood all the hype until my daughter participated, and marched in the band and we started going every week.
* Multiply that times 100, with a child actually playing on the team. Hype doesn't even begin to describe it.
* Decorate this, snacks for that, pictures for team, pictures for annual, pictures for the football moms, cleats, under armor, sign for the yard, sign for the fence, sign for the side of the road.
* I'm just ready to see some butt kicked!
* Hope W-spouse doesn't give me another Medical test. My job is stressful enough.
* W-moms foot looked better last night. Hopefully no damage was done. Will know more Monday after her appointment. Her spirits were a lot better and she had many visitors on her birthday.
* Plug goes out to Cuz! Those strawberry sweets were great. I'm going to be monitoring by blood sugar levels closely today.
* We plan on visiting Go-Go Gumbo this weekend. Never been and have heard it's great.
* Also a quick run Sunday down to the Hill Country to see the In-Laws. Can't wait to see them, it has been a while.
* Me loves me some Hill Country.
* I plan on being a passenger the whole way down and back to just enjoy the scenery.
* Plans are subject to change.
* If you missed the moon rising in the east last night, you missed a spectacular view.
* You need to read CTMs blog about her road trip. If for nothing else but to get a laugh today.
* Happy Friday and see ya Around The Corner!
